IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE - Things Jesus Never Said Part 5

"It doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you're sincere." Right???  WRONG!

We wrapped up the Things Jesus Never Said series yesterday and we talked about how sincerity isn't enough when it comes to belief.  We need more than sincerity; we need TRUTH!  Why?  Because it isn’t enough to believe if what I "believe in" isn’t the truth.

And that's exactly what Jesus came to reveal to us.  "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON - Things Jesus Never Said Part 4

Week 4 of the Things Jesus Never Said series and this week we talked about one of the most common misquotes of Jesus that Christians say all the time - "EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON".

"What's wrong with that?" you ask.  "Isn't that the right thing to say?  Aren't we supposed to trust that God is in control of everything?  It certainly seems like something that's probably in the Bible somewhere right?"

WHEN YOU FORGIVE, YOU MUST FORGET - Things Jesus Never Said Part 3

Wait a minute...are you saying that I do NOT need to forget in order to forgive?  That I can forgive someone even though I still feel hurt and pain?

Absolutely!  Why?  Because forgiving and forgetting are not the same thing!

Not only do I believe that you don't need to forget in order to forgive, I believe that in some cases, you CAN NOT forget no matter how hard you try!  But that doesn't mean you can't forgive.
